Celebrating New Year? This can make it more Amazing!

 ORIGIN There are two stories about the origin of New Year:-   1st story - New Year wasn’t always celebrated on 1st Jan. The earliest New Year celebrations date back to about 4,000 years ago. At that time, the people of ancient Babylon began their New Year in March. They had an 11-day celebration at the beginning of Spring as the crops were being planted for the upcoming year. 2nd story - New Year on 1st January was declared by Julius Caesar, the Roman emperor. He declared 1st Jan as a national holiday after the name of the god Janus, the Roman God of doors and gates. Janus had two faces one looking forward and the other looking back. FACTS 1.) North America - People celebrate New Year by gathering family and friends for parties. Sometimes, meals and spectacular firework displays are also on. 2.) Egyptian Gods and Goddesses

The Gods held great leverage over the daily lives of the ancient Egyptian society. According to them the Gods were the creators of the cosmos and the people that set order. The rituals and sacrifices were held for them. In this post we will tell you about some of the Gods like Isis, Osiris, Horus, Ra,  Nut, Anubis. Isis Isis (Egyptian Aset or Eset) was the eldest daughter of Geb and Nut . She had for siblings, Osiris, Seth, Nephthys and Haroeris . She was both a sibling and wife of Osiris. There children were Horus, Bastet and Ammit. Isis was the goddess of protection, patron of nature, the dead children, the noble and the commoners. Her magical powers were unmatchable with any other God. Even Ra or Osiris could not match her skills. She became one of the chief dieties of ancient Egypt. She cured the ill and brought the dead back to life. The cult of Isis was distant as far as the Greco-Roman world , the Roman empire and Afghanistan .
