Celebrating New Year? This can make it more Amazing!

 ORIGIN There are two stories about the origin of New Year:-   1st story - New Year wasn’t always celebrated on 1st Jan. The earliest New Year celebrations date back to about 4,000 years ago. At that time, the people of ancient Babylon began their New Year in March. They had an 11-day celebration at the beginning of Spring as the crops were being planted for the upcoming year. 2nd story - New Year on 1st January was declared by Julius Caesar, the Roman emperor. He declared 1st Jan as a national holiday after the name of the god Janus, the Roman God of doors and gates. Janus had two faces one looking forward and the other looking back. FACTS 1.) North America - People celebrate New Year by gathering family and friends for parties. Sometimes, meals and spectacular firework displays are also on. 2.)  INFLUENCES  Ancient Egyptian civilization was a civilization that lasted from 3300-525 B.C.E.  Approximately, this is the time where the concept of health started. Some of the earliest treatments come from ancient Egypt. The ancient Egyptians thought that Gods, demons and spirits had a hand in causing diseases. The point that these people had systems of letters and numbers meant that they were able to record and develop calculations. Its best example is ancient Egyptian medical Literature which accounts for the oldest existence today. These people had an organized economy, system of government, a settled population, social conventions and properly enforced laws . Before that these people lived a nomadic life. This situation allowed their medical research to develop. For instance, there were wealthy individuals in the ancient society.
