SPACEX’S STARLINK PROJECT

Image
Starlink is a satellite internet constellation program operated by SpaceX providing satellite Internet access to most of the Earth. The constellation consists of over 1600 satellites in mid-2021, and will eventually consist of many thousands of mass-produced small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO), which communicate with designated ground transceivers. While the technical possibility of satellite internet service covers most of the global population, actual service can be delivered only in countries that have licensed SpaceX to provide service within any specific national jurisdiction. As of November 2021, the beta service offering is available in 20 countries.                                       The deployment of the first 1,440 satellites will be into 72 orbital planes of 20 satellites each, with a requested lower minimum elevation angle of beams to improve reception: 25° rather than the...

What is soundproofing and carbon dating?

Image
1.) how a room is made Soundproof? Ans- You must have heard of soundproof rooms. Sound travels in the form of waves. Sound waves can travel through air, water and even solid materials like glass. Sound waves get weaker as they move away from the source. Glass windowpane is too thin to resist sound but two panes put 20 centimeters apart weaken the sound greatly. Soft materials like heavy curtains absorb sound and make the room soundproof. To make the recording rooms of studios soundproof, the walls are constructed without windows but with holes. The walls and ceiling are also lined with sound absorbing panels made of cork, foam etc. 2.) what is carbon dating? Human’s natural curiosity about knowing the age of different organisms that once lived on Earth resulted in the technique of Carbon Dating. The ages of different age-old plants and animals can be determined through the Carbon Dating process. Some other names of this technique are Radiocarbon and Carbon-14 Dating. Like all mate...

DO YOU KNOW THESE THINGS ABOUT PLANES AND JETS?

Image
1.) Can planes take off and land vertically? Answer to this is YES. One of the most exciting development in aircraft technology is the VTOL (Vertical take-off and landing) planes. The most successful aircraft of this type is the British-made Harrier Jump Jet. The normal twin-jet aircraft have have the jet engines fixed at the sides of the aircraft or to the wings but Single Jet-Engined Aircrafts have the engine built in its fuselage. Both the aircrafts suck-in air from the front and mix it with the fuel in the Compression-Chamber, then the Exhaust Gases are ejected from the rear which thrusts the aircraft forward. The engines in the VTOL aircrafts can be repositioned vertically and the exhaust is directed downwards and the aircraft is thrusted upwards. VTOL Aircrafts are mainly used for military purposes. Long runways are not needed for the Take-Off and Landing of VTOL Aircrafts. Once in air they can fly at supersonic speeds. The Harrier Jump Jet. 2.) How does Autopilot mode works? Aut...
