 1. THE DEATH RAY – NIKOLA TESLA

The death ray or death beam was a theoretical particle beam or electromagnetic weapon first appeared around the 1920s and 1930s. At that time, notable inventors such as Guglielmo Marconi, Nikola Tesla, Harry Grindell Matthews, Edwin R. Scott, etc. were there. A military weapon that would shoot mercury particles at 48 times the speed of sound in a vacuum chamber and shoot a high velocity beam that could bring down a fleet of 10,000 enemy airplanes at a distance of 250 miles. Tesla offered his beam to many governments, including U.S.A., but the only country which showed interest was the Soviet Union which conducted a test in 1939.

2. THOUGHT CAMERA – NIKOLA TESLA

Tesla believed that it could be possible to photograph thoughts. The inventor thought of reflecting an image on an artificial retina, taking a picture and projecting it on a screen. In this way every thought of the person could be read. Then our minds would be like, open books.

3. BARRELED CANNON (the automatic weapon) –LEONARDO DA VINCI

Da Vinci developed the multi barreled canon in 1480. It was a 12- barreled gun carriage which was a vast improvement over the fifteenth century. It’s design was a fan-like shape that could widen power and made it automatic against a line of advancing troops.

4. STONE SPHERES in COSTA RICA.

Giant stone spheres dating back to 600 A.D. pepper in the Diquis Delta of southern Costa Rica which are also known as Las Bolas (“The Balls”). According to archaeologists they are the works of Pre-Colombian civilization and are made of gabbro, the rock that forms from molten magma.

5. ANTIKYTHERA MECHANISM

Like something in a thrilling treasure movie the discovery of Antikythera mechanism is a major archaeological head scratcher. It was found 2,000 years ago in a wrecked Greek cargo ship. Archaeologists have found out that this is a circular bronze artefact that contains a maze of interlocking gears and mysterious characters etched all over.  They now know that it was a highly intricate astronomical calendar.

6. ATLANTIS

The lost city of Atlantis has been discovered in Bahamas, the Greek islands, Cuba, and even Japan if every claim is to be believed. A Greek historian Plato in 360. B.C. said that it was a great naval power before sinking into the sea over 10,000 years ago.
